Joel Camp, NHA has directed nursing homes in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts since 1975. His interest in person-centered care has led Joel to work closely with his teams to bring culture change to the nursing home setting. Besides his work with administration of existing nursing homes, Joel has also opened five homes during his career. His emphasis on quality for all brought superior care to the residents served. Joel chose to join the team at Renaissance Manor on Cabot due to its excellent compliance history, and the exemplary, individualized care which is provided to all residents.

Director of Marketing and Admissions: Catherine Leu, LSW

Cathy is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has amassed over 20 years of experience as a Social Worker, Discharge Planner and Admissions Coordinator in subacute and long term care settings. She is an expert in all aspects of long term care reimbursement, and adept at conducting pre-admission evaluations of prospective residents. Cathy is committed to being personally involved with our residents and families from the point of first contact through the first weeks after admission. Cathy also works closely with all departments and managers to ensure that each resident experiences a positive transition to life here at our center.

Director of Nursing Services: Karen Hamley, RN

Karen Hamley, RN, Director of Nursing Service is a 1974 graduate of Hartford Hospital School of Nursing. Her career has included Intensive Care nursing, over twenty years at a Level I trauma center, and most recently as a Team Coordinator at McLean Home in Simsbury, Connecticut, a 154-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Karen chose Renaissance Manor on Cabot due to its small size and the opportunity it provided for her to be hands-on with both staff and residents. Karen is excited to be part of the culture change journey at Renaissance.
